We have a Caterpillar power plant that can provide up to 4.5 MW of continuous power.  This plant is composed of two 2250 kW Cat diesel generators with low-rpm 3608 caterpillar engines. The 3600 engine is well known for being a workhorse that can run for many years.  These generators were stored indoors at a government facility, only used for standby power, and each unit has less than 600 hours.  The gensets can be run Continuously, as Prime or Standby power and can be purchased individually or as a pair.
